I would definitely recommend preparing kids in some way. Last week I attended a funeral of a mom who died leaving 9 kids behind. The youngest was a month old. It was tragic in every sense.Mercy Mathewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18337601553019705817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9219415631523094901.post-45179795356489908882012-02-28T14:10:47.473-06:002012-02-28T14:10:47.473-06:00Stopping by from the Get Connected Tuesday Blog Ho...Stopping by from the Get Connected Tuesday Blog Hop! http://queenofsavings.comJustinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03416178838703624559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9219415631523094901.post-49435113785757571172012-02-28T08:30:06.465-06:002012-02-28T08:30:06.465-06:00This also probably depends on their age too. The older the child, the better a grasp they can get on the concept of death and what a parent wishes. It's about maturity I think, too.insomniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10265778968333666335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9219415631523094901.post-422367201841294902012-02-28T07:21:22.640-06:002012-02-28T07:21:22.640-06:00Thanks,momto8. What I get from it is that it is important that we set up arrangements for our children, just in case. That might be more important than the discussion with our children. Thanks!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17487462833725421341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9219415631523094901.post-32989276796830987212012-02-27T23:13:04.438-06:002012-02-27T23:13:04.438-06:00in our house heaven is the goal.....so we talk abo...in our house heaven is the goal.....so we talk about living a life that will get us there whenever that time comes...which means always be the best you can..and always do the right thing...then no fears..only hope.<br />i am your newest follower..pls follow back if you can.momto8https://www.blogger.com/profile/13964950285763339907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9219415631523094901.post-70253849674503891732012-02-27T22:13:51.506-06:002012-02-27T22:13:51.506-06:00We have had very frank and open death talks. Would I bring up the 'if mommy dies' talk, no. They do know that if anything happens to me that they will be taken care of by people that love them. That's what is important that they understand, to me anyway.insomniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10265778968333666335noreply@blogger.com
